Bash is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Jon Bash will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bash connects with a single shot there.
Bash misses with a double jab
and St Pierre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bash scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A punch combination from Bash misses.
Some wild striking there from Bash.
Sloppy strikes from Bash. Those never looked like landing.
St Pierre fails with a takedown attempt.
St Pierre scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Bash waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract St Pierre. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped St Pierre to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

St Pierre controls Bash momentarily but Bash frees himself.

St Pierre is really struggling to control Bash but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Georges St Pierre just wasn't active enough.
Bash lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but St Pierre circles away quickly and effectively.
St Pierre is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bash.
St Pierre misses with a straight left.
Bash looks to land a combination. St Pierre sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
St Pierre tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bash swivels and escapes.
Bash connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent St Pierre tumbling to the canvas! Bash pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! St Pierre was done - good stoppage!
