Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Lunar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lunar comes to the cage accompanied by Seperate Ways by Journey. Montana has chosen Push It To The Limit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lucas Lunar had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucas Lunar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Montana!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lunar fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lunar jabs Montana to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lunar wants to clinch but Montana slips to the side
and Montana counters with a leg kick.

and Montana counters with a good low kick that Lunar was not able to check.
Lunar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Montana throws an overhand right that lands on Lunar's shoulder, as Lunar tries to avoid the shot.

Lunar chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Montana can pounce on him.

Montana drops back looking for a leg! Lunar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lunar manages to kick Montana off! Montana jumps back into Lunar's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Lucas Lunar will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lucas Lunar will probably get the nod.

That was a close round but Lucas Lunar did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Montana lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lunar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lunar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Montana throws a hook to the side of Lunar's head but Lunar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Montana lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lunar moves into range and clinches up with Montana.
Montana lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Antonio Montana has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Montana wants to stall.

Lunar pulls guard effortlessly.
Lucas Lunar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Montana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lunar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lunar is looking for a triangle but Montana pushes his legs off easily.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Antonio Montana hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Montana throws an overhand right that lands on Lunar's shoulder, as Lunar tries to avoid the shot.

Lunar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Montana tries to avoid it but Lunar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Montana to the ground. Montana escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Montana tries to land a front kick but Lunar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lunar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Montana was well out of range. Poor timing from Lunar.
Montana keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lucas Lunar showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Lunar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Antonio Montana spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
