Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simo Storm!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Martin landing strikes.
Martin in side control, throwing shots but Storm defends.
Martin throws a strike aimed at the side of Storm's head but Storm avoids it well.
You can see the frustration on Storm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Martin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Storm down.
Martin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Storm on the ground.

Storm gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Martin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Storm wants to get back to his feet.
Storm keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Martin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Storm with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Storm wants to control but Martin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Martin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Martin passes to side control.
Storm looks gassed!
Martin grinds an elbow into Storm's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
You can see the frustration on Storm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Storm is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Martin is staying active.
Martin in side control lands a decent elbow.
Martin scores with punches from side control.


Storm is rocked!
Martin lands a strong strike to the head of Storm. That's dazed him! Martin looking to finish here. Storm is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Martin lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Martin!
A less than humble Mike Martin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
