The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Scott coming out on top.

It looks like Dexter Hector has been cut.
Hector shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Scott pinned against the cage. Scott gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Scott scoring well with a low kick there.
Scott throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hector has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Scott.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hector fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hector takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Scott clobbers Hector with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Scott lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Scott connects with a solid leg kick.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hector is staying active underneath Scott, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
