And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paroni lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Withers throws a chopping leg kick but Paroni manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Paroni closes the distance looking to clinch
and Withers counters with a nice leg kick.
Withers uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paroni.
Paroni misses with a straight left.
Withers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Paroni to the ground. Withers is now in Paroni's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Withers throws a strike but Paroni rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Paroni with a flurry of punches that miss.
Paroni working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Paroni trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Paroni won't allow Withers to sweep him here.
Withers working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Paroni.
Paroni trying to control the position from guard on top but Withers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bill Paroni.
Withers tries for a takedown but Paroni sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Withers misses with a kick to the body
and Paroni counters with a solid body kick.
Paroni throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Paroni lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Withers blocks a head kick by Paroni.
Paroni throws a poor cross that misses
and Withers counters with a shoot takedown. Paroni fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paroni trying to keep a closed guard but Withers is proving a slippery customer.
Paroni seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Withers lying in Paroni's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Paroni decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Withers taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
