The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericsson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Paris Ericsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ericsson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zalesky.
Ericsson shoots in but Zalesky avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice uppercut there from Zalesky.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zalesky leaves Ericsson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ericsson slips under a jab from Zalesky.
Ericsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zalesky's waist but Zalesky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ericsson off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paris Ericsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ericsson is breathing heavily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zalesky. Ericsson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zalesky connects with a nice looking jab.
Ericsson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Zalesky misses with an uppercut.
Zalesky looks to score with a jab to the body but Ericsson is just out of range.
Zalesky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Zalesky scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ericsson doesn't seem bothered though.
Zalesky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ericsson manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ericsson fails with a takedown attempt.
Scott Zalesky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zalesky feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ericsson sprawling to the canvas! Ericsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zalesky finish him?!
Ericsson is rocked!
It looks like Paris Ericsson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ericsson staying out of range there.
Oh Ericsson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ericsson fails to land with a series of punches.
Zalesky fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ericsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Zalesky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ericsson seems to have got his legs back now.
Ericsson avoids the body shot from Zalesky.
Zalesky just misses with a punch to the body.
Zalesky darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Ericsson's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Zalesky before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Zalesky!
