The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Convents shoots in but no luck this time.
Silveira dives in and grabs Convents's left leg, looking for a takedown. Convents pushes down on Silveira's head and hops out.
Silveira shoots in looking for a takedown but Convents manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silveira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Convents counters with a head kick that drops Silveira to the mat! Silveira scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Convents manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Silveira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Convents doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silveira.

Convents is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silveira can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Silveira is bucking up trying to escape but Convents cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Convents lands a big elbow - Silveira is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Silveira is forced to tap out!
