The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harun throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head.

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Nice takedown defense from Harun. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harun but Harun pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Harun clinches with his opponent.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jones throws an elbow but misses.

Harun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Harun lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Harun takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Harun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Harun gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Harun comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Harun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
