Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonnie Boardwalk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Schwarzmynager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jonnie Boardwalk has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonnie Boardwalk seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzmynager slips a straight right by Boardwalk.
Schwarzmynager takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Schwarzmynager doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boardwalk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Boardwalk throws a lazy right hand but Schwarzmynager sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boardwalk throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Boardwalk swings for the body but Schwarzmynager moves out of range.
Boardwalk throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Schwarzmynager sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Schwarzmynager tries for a takedown but Boardwalk circles away easily
and Boardwalk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boardwalk scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Schwarzmynager doesn't seem bothered though.
Schwarzmynager tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boardwalk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Schwarzmynager somewhat.
Jonnie Boardwalk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnold Schwarzmynager.
Boardwalk throws a hook to the side of Schwarzmynager's head but Schwarzmynager sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Schwarzmynager shoots in but no luck this time.
Boardwalk waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Schwarzmynager.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boardwalk throws a chopping leg kick but Schwarzmynager manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Schwarzmynager is still on wobbly legs! Can Boardwalk finish him?
Boardwalk missing with a left hand there. Schwarzmynager was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Schwarzmynager's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Boardwalk connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Schwarzmynager scrambles back to his feet.
Boardwalk cracks Schwarzmynager on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Schwarzmynager falls backwards against the cage. Boardwalk follows up with more strikes that drop Schwarzmynager to his knees. Boardwalk keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Schwarzmynager! This one is all over!
