Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hitmon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haku Men (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Haku Men!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Men looks to clinch

and Lee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lee.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Lee tries to bum rush Men with a series of wild strikes but Men uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but Men is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The referee is keeping an eye on Lee - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Men using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lee has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
