Cifer Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Vesa sprawls well. He's pushed Cifer Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Vesa connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Vesa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Vesa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cifer Jr was covering up waiting for the punch and Vesa finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Vesa is still in real trouble! Can Cifer Jr finish him?

Vesa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cifer Jr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vesa has managed to get both his arms back between Cifer Jr's legs - danger averted.

Vesa seems to have recovered his senses.
Vesa tries to bum rush Cifer Jr with a series of wild strikes but Cifer Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cifer Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vesa sprawls well. Vesa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cifer Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

Vesa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Vesa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cifer Jr is working away from the top position though.
