Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arne De Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikon Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Rick doesn't manage to clinch there - Holm circles away.
Holm misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Holm wants to clinch up but De Rick keeps it at a distance.
De Rick swinging wilding here.
De Rick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Holm shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
De Rick is doing well to control the position and prevent Holm from advancing to side control.
Holm has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Holm is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but De Rick is surviving well by controlling Holm's body position as best he can.

Holm throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
De Rick regains half guard.
De Rick wants to get back to his feet.
De Rick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Holm on the ground.
Holm seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Holm is working for a kimura but De Rick is defending it quite comfortably.
De Rick is trying to stand up here but Holm is controlling him well.

Holm is tying to control. De Rick wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Holm might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control De Rick kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

De Rick kicks off Holm and gets to his feet.
Holm misses with a head kick.
Holm looks for a takedown but De Rick sprawls well.

Holm decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Holm looks gassed!

Holm prevents De Rick from standing back up.

De Rick pushes Holm off and gets back to his feet.
De Rick stuffs the takedown.
Arne De Rick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikon Holm.

It looks like Nikon Holm has been cut.
De Rick misses with the combination.
De Rick wants to clinch up but Holm keeps it at a distance.
De Rick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holm paws at him with a jab and circles away.
De Rick throws a good cross that connects.
De Rick tries to bum rush Holm with a series of wild strikes but Holm uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
De Rick lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
De Rick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
De Rick looks to land a left hand but Holm moved out of range nicely.

De Rick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Holm swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A head kick misses from De Rick.

Holm gets a clinch.
Holm prevents De Rick from breaking the clinch.
Holm tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. De Rick just stands there and leans against the cage.
De Rick wants to break free but Holm has control.
De Rick managing to block the knees to the body from Holm.
Holm will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning De Rick up against the cage.

De Rick prevents the takedown attempt.
Holm goes for a takedown in the clinch but De Rick prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Arne De Rick will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Nikon Holm's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

De Rick fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

De Rick gets caught flat footed, as Holm shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
De Rick avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Holm is pushing down on De Rick's leg trying to pass to half guard. De Rick is fighting to maintain full guard but Holm has managed to sneak the leg through.

De Rick manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Danga de danga de dang - De Rick scores with a four punch combination!
Holm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? De Rick is fending him off so far but Holm persists. Nope, De Rick circles away and we're back to standing.
Holm misses with a few strikes there.
Arne De Rick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Holm changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. De Rick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holm tries to move into full mount but can't pass De Rick's legs.
Holm content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Holm thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
De Rick bucks up and tries to throw Holm off but instead Holm has got his back!

Holm looking to break De Rick's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. De Rick remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Holm will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Nikon Holm has got the better of the ground game so far.

Holm wants to control but De Rick is keeping busy.

Holm has got one arm under De Rick's chin. This could be trouble... De Rick trying to control the other hand but Holm gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, De Rick has tapped out! The fight is over!
