The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a right and a left that Tate avoids nicely.
Tate looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tate avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tate shoots in for a double leg but Joe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Joe throws a head kick but Tate moves out of range.
Some wild striking there from Joe.
Tate slips a jab and a cross from Joe.
Bubba Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tate keeps the fight on the outside.
Tate scoring well with a low kick there.
A nice inside leg kick there by Joe. That's going to slow Tate down.
Joe looks to land a combination but Tate avoids it well.
Joe tries to clinch there but Tate circles away.
Tate swats away the attempt to clinch by Joe.
Joe attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Joe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tate moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Joe throws a series of punches but Tate avoids them all with ease.

Joe bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Terrence Tate has been cut.
Tate takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Joe.
Joe misses with a wild body shot.
Joe scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tate is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tate dodges the punch combination from Joe.
Joe pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tate throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joe's waist but Joe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tate off to one side.

Joe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Tate counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Joe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Tate goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Tate tries to move into range but Joe moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tate swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tate takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Joe's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Joe duly obliges.

Tate has closed the distance and engaged Joe in a clinch.

Joe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tate looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Joe fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Tate to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Tate looks to clinch but Joe throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Tate taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
