Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nickolai Zhukov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhukov comes to the cage accompanied by Hands of a Killer. Kyle has chosen UFC - Face the Pain as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Kyle !
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle thuds a left hand into Zhukov's body.
Zhukov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kyle misses with a body shot.
Kyle misses with a kick to the body.
Kyle tries to close the distance and clinch but Zhukov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zhukov throws a hook but Kyle avoids it easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That kick from Kyle tenderised Zhukov's leg. Zhukov is trying to keep his angry face on.
Zhukov cracks Kyle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kyle takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zhukov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kyle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zhukov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kyle takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Zhukov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kyle .
Kyle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zhukov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kyle under the eye.

That has opened up Mike Kyle 's cut even more.

Kyle has managed to clinch.
Kyle has Zhukov pressed against the cage, preventing Zhukov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kyle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nickolai Zhukov will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kyle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zhukov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kyle takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kyle tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zhukov fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Nickolai Zhukov really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that PRIME DESIGNS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
