The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Vicious. Edwards does a little dance to reset his feet.

Vicious drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Vicious controlling from the top position.
Vicious trying to control the position from guard on top but Edwards is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vicious is stalling in the full guard.

Randolf Vicious has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Vicious takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Vicious clobbers Edwards with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Edwards is breathing heavily.
Vicious finds Edwards's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Edwards flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Vicious lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Edwards will be OK.
