Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lucias Verenus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold scores with a jab. Verenus acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Verenus is rocked!

Verenus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Oh Verenus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Verenus tries to move to mount but Gold blocks the move with his legs.
Verenus seems to have got his legs back now.
Verenus is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gold's shoulder. That is not cool.
Gold tries to escape but Verenus is in control.

Verenus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gold knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gold is trying to buck Verenus off.
Gold is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Verenus tries to move to mount but Gold blocks the move with his legs.

Gold wants to get back to his feet but Verenus drags him back down.

Verenus stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Gold misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gold looks gassed!
Verenus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gold as he jumps to the side.
Verenus has a takedown stuffed.
Good exchange - Gold coming out on top.
Ari Gold is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck for Verenus with that takedown attempt.

Gold closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Verenus! Gold dives in looking to finish! Verenus is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
