Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tom Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Tailface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Sato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Tailface!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tailface in his tracks.
Sato will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tailface doesn't manage to clinch there - Sato circles away.
Sato scores with a jab. Tailface acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Sato pushes Tailface up against the ropes in a clinch.
Sato scores with a shot to the side of Tailface's head.
Sato tries a body shot but Tailface blocks it.
Tailface is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Sato makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Sato lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tailface backwards.

Sato manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sato closes the distance and clinches.
Sato lands with a light punch inside.
Tailface wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sato has him pressed against the ropes.
Sato looking to slow down the pace here.
Sato lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tailface backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tailface breaks the clinch.
Sato tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tailface swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tom Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sato fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tailface is looking to clinch but Sato is avoiding it.
Sato circles away from the clinch attempt.
A bone on bone clash there as Sato blocks the leg kick.
Tailface drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sato tries to clinch up but Tailface circles away and keeps his distance.
Sato cracks Tailface with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Tailface is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Tailface is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Tailface could not beat the count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tom Sato!
As Tom Sato got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I'm grateful for this opportunity to hone my standup skills. I will use this experience to make my fights more exciting.'.
