Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Blitz Finish!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kerensky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Finish thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kerensky if he has to take too many more of those.
Finish takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Finish shoots in looking for a takedown. Kerensky tries to sprawl out of it but Finish keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kerensky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Kerensky.
Well Kerensky has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Alexander Kerensky decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
