Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Serrano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fox's choice of entrance music: 2nd Round KO. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serrano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fox but Fox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Serrano fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Fox manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Serrano shoots in for a takedown but Fox shows good takedown defense.

Fox clinches up with Serrano and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Serrano is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fox is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Serrano to the mat. Serrano regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fox lands a couple of elbows.
Fox throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fox content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Fox not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fox stands and throws Serrano's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fox wants to lay and pray for a moment but Serrano keeps working.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fox postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Justin Fox has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Fox shoots in for a takedown but Serrano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Serrano tries to clinch but Fox moves away
and Fox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Serrano.
Fox misses with a hook. Serrano ducked under it nicely.

and Fox counters with a crisp one two that drops Serrano! Fox thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Serrano to his feet! Serrano is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fox fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Serrano square on the jaw! Damn, Serrano is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
