Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benjy Bronk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronk comes into the arena with 10 Years - Shoot it out blaring out of the sound system. Benjy Bronk has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Benjy Bronk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitor Silva!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with an attempted mid kick.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.
Bronk shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bronk slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Bronk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bronk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bronk wanted to stand there but Silva had control of the position.
Bronk postures up.
Bronk trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bronk tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Bronk is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bronk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bronk preventing the sweep.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bronk throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silva.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bronk looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bronk has managed to clinch.
Silva tries to break the clinch but Bronk is controlling the position.

Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bronk is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bronk ducks under a wild hook from Silva.

Bronk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bronk lands in his opponent's guard.
Bronk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bronk controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Bronk from controlling successfully.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Benjy Bronk just wasn't active enough.
Bronk shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.

Silva throws a head kick that half lands.
Silva misses with a lunging right hand

and Bronk counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.

Bronk trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Bronk is working Silva over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bronk controls from within his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bronk drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bronk seems to have locked his on tight now - Silva screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bronk, as he picks up the win!
