Bananasplits comes to the cage accompanied by call to prayer. Korpisuo has chosen Eläkeläiset - Humpparaakki as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Risto Korpisuo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Korpisuo moves into the clinch successfully.
Bananasplits takes a knee to the side of the body.
Korpisuo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bananasplits fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bananasplits fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Bananasplits gets tackled into the cage by Korpisuo. Korpisuo maintains the clinch.
Bananasplits wants to get back to striking at distance but Korpisuo won't allow it.
Bananasplits is trying to push Korpisuo away but Korpisuo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bananasplits prevents a body shot from Korpisuo.

Korpisuo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Korpisuo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bananasplits knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
