Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Car Lito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Wigfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lito scores with a body shot.
Wigfield swats away the attempt to clinch by Lito.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lito.
Lito will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lito looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wigfield is fending him off so far but Lito persists. Nope, Wigfield circles away and we're back to standing.

Lito shoots for a double leg takedown but Wigfield sprawls well. He's pushed Lito's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lito cracks a nice hook into Wigfield's ribs.

Wigfield with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lito to score with a decent uppercut.

Wigfield shoots in looking for a takedown. Lito tries to sprawl out of it but Wigfield keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lito manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lito looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lito shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wigfield but Wigfield pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jamie Wigfield has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Lito changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wigfield keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lito shoots in looking for a takedown but Wigfield manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lito's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lito tries to clinch there but Wigfield circles away.
Lito pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wigfield back to the cage. Lito follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lito shoots in and drives through. Wigfield sprawls well.
Lito tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wigfield swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lito has had enough of the clinch but Wigfield keeps him there for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

No joy there for Lito, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lito is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Car Lito just wasn't active enough.

Wigfield has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Lito has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
