The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker gets a double leg takedown into Christmas's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Christmas has his hands on Barker's head, controlling the position.
Christmas wants to stand and escape but Barker is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Christmas can do anything to dispel that myth.

Christmas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Christmas is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Barker still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Barker has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Barker decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Barker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Christmas napping and manages to drive through into side control!
