Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Strykzilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strykzilla has chosen A Certain Death - Misery Signals as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edward Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rampage Strykzilla!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones pivots, looking for a leg kick but Strykzilla is out of range and Jones settles back down.
Strykzilla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Strykzilla tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Strykzilla avoids the head kick by Jones.

Strykzilla rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage.
Strykzilla tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.
Strykzilla tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Edward Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rampage Strykzilla.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jones.
Strykzilla lands a shoulder strike.
Strykzilla lands with a light punch inside.
A short left from Strykzilla.
Strykzilla lands a left hand.
Strykzilla lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Strykzilla swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Strykzilla is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Strykzilla lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Strykzilla looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Strykzilla in particular looking to stall.
Jones gets full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Strykzilla from controlling successfully.

Strykzilla drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jones dives on top into guard.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Strykzilla working for a triangle but Jones defends it easily.
Strykzilla is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jones advances position into side control!
Jones tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Jones trying to control the action but Strykzilla is working from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Strykzilla can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones tries to advance to mount but Strykzilla denies him.
Strykzilla can't do much from the bottom here.

Strykzilla tries to improve position but can't.
A control attempt from Strykzilla but he's now mounted!
Strykzilla wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Strykzilla wants to hold on but Jones pushes him away.
Jones looking to ground and pound but Strykzilla is blocking nicely.
Jones avoids the attempt from Strykzilla to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Strykzilla is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jones is staying active.
Strykzilla has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rampage Strykzilla dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Strykzilla fails with the takedown.
Strykzilla tries to clinch up.

Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones throws a nice inside leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jones. That's going to slow Strykzilla down.
Jones connects with a solid leg kick.
Jones explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strykzilla steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jones. That one must have hurt.
Rampage Strykzilla is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones throws a head kick that Strykzilla semi-blocks.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Strykzilla. That did some damage!
A chopping leg kick lands by Jones.
Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Strykzilla is breathing heavily.
Strykzilla takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Edward Jones is winning the standup battle so far.

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Strykzilla tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Strykzilla back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Strykzilla is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jones.
Strykzilla is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Jones! This one is all over!
