The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Bitonti does it's job there.

Bitonti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bitonti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bitonti is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Manhoef knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Manhoef for a finish.

Bitonti is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Manhoef has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Manhoef is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bitonti gets his way!
Manhoef really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bitonti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bitonti is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Manhoef defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Manhoef is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bitonti off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

A very excited looking Anthony Bitonti rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
