Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Wells, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hodgins misses with a takedown attempt - Wells sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hodgins takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hodgins has his takedown stuffed
and Hodgins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Wells moves into the clinch.
Wells misses with a punch on the inside.
Wells misses with a body punch.
Wells pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Wells gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hodgins.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Hodgins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hodgins lands an elbow that stopped Wells in his tracks for a moment.
Wells dodges an elbow strike from Hodgins.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hodgins just misses with a elbow thrown towards Wells's brow.
Hodgins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wells pulls his leg out and moves away.

Wells lands a right hand.
Hodgins tries to score a body lock takedown but Wells shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Wells throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hodginss head.
Wells is pressed up against the cage. Hodgins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wells down to the mat. Wells avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wells drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hodgins is breathing heavily.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wells slips nicely into half guard.
Wells thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hodgins's head.

Wells is working for a kimura but Hodgins is defending it quite comfortably.

Wells has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hodgins's face.
