The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses.
Stevens throws the kick towards the body but Jay avoids it.

Jay gets a double leg takedown into Stevens's guard.
Jay advances position into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stevens gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Jay looking to finish Stevens with some ground and pound. This is bad for Stevens!
