Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colin Millen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Busy Signal!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Signal shoots in looking for a takedown. Millen tries to sprawl out of it but Signal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Millen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Millen connects with a body shot that sends Signal's belly button to the back.
Millen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Signal's head.
Millen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Signal missing with a left hand there. Millen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Signal throws a shot from downtown. Millen moves away and avoids it.
Millen scores with a leg kick.
Millen is looking to score with low kicks.
Millen tries to land a leg kick but Signal saw it coming and moves away.
Colin Millen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Millen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Signal looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Signal wants to pass to mount but Millen is defending the position.
Signal trying to control the pace.

It looks like Signal might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Signal trying to control from half guard but Millen is working away.
Signal might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Millen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Busy Signal has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Millen instigates a clinch.
Signal is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Signal managing to block the knees to the body from Millen.
Millen scores a nice knee to the body.
Millen tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Signal avoids it.
Signal blocking some punches.
Millen is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Millen lands a good knee to the midsection. Signal won't want to take too many of those.
Signal has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Millen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Millen lands an elbow inside that Signal shrugs off.

Millen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Signal's face.
Signal is looking for a takedown.
Colin Millen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Busy Signal.
Millen tries to throw a body punch but Signal avoids it by throwing Millen back against the cage.
Millen lands with a right to the head.
Millen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Signal is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Millen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Signal lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Millen is pressed up against the cage. Signal has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Millen down to the mat. Millen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Millen cracks the inside of Signal's front leg.
Signal takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Millen feints and then cracks Signal's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Signal down.
Millen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Signal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Millen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Signal.
Millen moves in looking to clinch but Signal pushes him off.
A solid leg kick lands there for Millen.
Signal looks gassed!
Millen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Millen scores with a head kick. Signal tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Millen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Millen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Millen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Millen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Millen throws a head kick that Signal semi-blocks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Millen.
Millen thumps Signal with a low kick.
Millen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Colin Millen is winning the standup battle so far.
Millen lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Millen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Millen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Millen lands with a thumping leg kick.
Signal looks to throw the jab but Millen is out of range.
Millen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Signal drives through with a takedown into guard.
Signal trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Signal trying to control but Millen is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Signalis looking to pass into half guard but Millen pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Millen is in guard.
Signal manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Millen tries to hold on but Signal pushes him away.
Signal is landing with some decent strikes but Millen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
BOOM! Signal connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Signal looking to control but Millen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Signal unloads with some shots from mount but Millen bucks and avoids them well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Signal scoring with strikes but Millen is staying in there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Signal sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Millen tries to hold on but Signal pushes him away.
Signal wants to control the pace but Millen is squirming around nicely.
Busy Signal has got the better of the ground game so far.
Millen is desperately trying to improve his position but Signal has a good base and remains in mount.
Signal punishing his opponent with strikes.
Signal can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Millen is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Millen tries to lock up and control but Signal gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Signal throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Signal controlling his opponent.
Signal lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Signal wants to control the pace but Millen is squirming around nicely.
Signal misses with a head shot.

Signal with shots to the head and body - Millen looks very uncomfortable down there.
Poor strikes thrown by Signal there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Millen wants to control but Signal is having none of it.

Signal is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Millen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Millen!
Signal looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Busy Signal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


A solid leg kick lands there for Millen.

Millen rushes Signal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Good body shot from Millen.
Millen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Signal.
Signal's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Millen holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Millen misses with a hook to the ribs.

Signal has clasped his hands together around Millen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Signal throws an elbow but Millen slips to the side and avoids it well.

Signal is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Millen will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Signal is looking to take a break and control but Millen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Signal thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Signal trying to control the action but Millen is working from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Millen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Busy Signal was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Millen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Signal has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Signal and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Millen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Good leg kick by Millen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A looping hook to the body misses from Millen. Signal does a little dance to reset his feet.

Signal drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Signal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Millen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Signal is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Busy Signal comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Signal has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
