The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Werdum looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rocha Tycoon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rocha Tycoon throws a head kick but Werdum moves out of range.
Rocha Tycoon throws the kick towards the body but Werdum avoids it.
Rocha Tycoon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Werdum closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rocha Tycoon circles away.
Rocha Tycoon lands with a shot to the body.
Werdum misses with a few strikes there.
Werdum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rocha Tycoon but Rocha Tycoon pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rocha Tycoon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rocha Tycoon connects with a right hand. Werdum shakes it off.
Rocha Tycoon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Werdums jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Werdum looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rocha Tycoon is fending him off so far but Werdum persists. Nope, Rocha Tycoon circles away and we're back to standing.

Werdum bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rocha Tycoon is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Werdum is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rocha Tycoon looks calm but he's in trouble here. Werdum gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rocha Tycoon is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Werdum lets go of the hold and Rocha Tycoon can pop his arm back in it's socket.
