The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manninen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Paakkanen scores with the left hand. Manninen knows he should have avoided that one.
Paakkanen misses with a two punch combination.
Paakkanen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Manninen. That did some damage!
Paakkanen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Paakkanen fakes the leg kick and cracks Manninen in the body.

Manninen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Manninen walks into a straight right hand from Paakkanen.
Paakkanen throws a leg kick which misses Manninen's front leg but catches the back leg as Manninen tries to avoid it.
Paakkanen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Paakkanen's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Paakkanen duly obliges.
No joy there for Paakkanen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A nice inside leg kick there by Paakkanen. That's going to slow Manninen down.
Manninen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Manninen shoots in for a double leg but Paakkanen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Metuselah Paakkanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Paakkanen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Manninen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Horrible takedown by Manninen or perhaps it was just good defense by Paakkanen which made him look bad.
