Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Bato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Reser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sultan Bato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Reser!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reser throws a series of punches but Bato avoids them all with ease.
Reser should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bato has Reser up against the cage in a clinch.
Reser wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bato tries to land a knee to the head but Reser blocks with his arms.
A head punch on the inside from Reser fails to land.
Reser tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bato prevents Reser from breaking the clinch.
Bato lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Reser lands a body punch in the clinch.

Reser has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bato clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bato tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reser must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bato bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reser's guard.
Bato throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Reser works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Reser utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reser can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bato is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Reser is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bato gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Reser breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Reser closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Reser has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bato is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Sultan Bato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Reser.

Reser wants the takedown. Bato is fighting it off but Reser persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bato's guard against the cage.
Bato looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reser is one step ahead there.

Bato lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Reser!

Bato is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bato extends the arm and Reser is forced to tap!
