Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Kremer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Brees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Matt Kremer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Matt Kremer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brees fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brees misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice takedown defense from Kremer. No joy for Brees on that attempt.
Brees fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brees tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kremer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brees wants to clinch up but Kremer keeps it at a distance.
Kremer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kremer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brees but Brees pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Brees looks to score with a jab to the body but Kremer is just out of range.

Brees is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kremer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kremer has his foot on Brees's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brees works his way back into a safe position though.
Brees is sitting in close to Kremer's body. Kremer has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Brees is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Brees is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kremer.
