Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kair Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gold has chosen Bullet with a name as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rich Gold!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gold gets a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Drogo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gold pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gold walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Drogo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Drogo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Drogo lands a few punches from side control.
Gold is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Drogo off and has taken his back!
Drogo rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Gold stops Drogo from getting back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drogo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Drogo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gold trying to control the position from guard on top but Drogo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Drogo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gold takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Gold is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Drogo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
