The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkerson thuds a left hand into Burell's body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Burell is defended easily by Wilkerson.
Burell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Wilkerson tries to bum rush Burell with a series of wild strikes but Burell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Burell gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Burell ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Burell no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wilkerson throws a big elbow that misses.
Wilkerson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wilkerson postures up in Burell's guard and throws a big left but Burell blocks it.
Burell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wilkerson!
Burell avoids the attempt from Wilkerson to control.

Wilkerson is controlling an arm, preventing Burell from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Wilkerson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Burell is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Wilkerson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Wilkerson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Burell anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Wilkerson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Burell slips an arm under Wilkerson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Burell has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Burell is squeezing on Wilkerson like an anaconda would it's prey. Wilkerson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
