Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ville Kuukkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuukkeli kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is a-ha - Take On Me. Leo Clarke told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leo Clarke!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuukkeli throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Clarke.

It looks like Leo Clarke has been cut.
Kuukkeli moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kuukkeli is looking to clinch.
Clarke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kuukkeli punishes Clarke's body with a nice straight punch.

Kuukkeli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clarke tries to avoid it but Kuukkeli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clarke to the ground. Clarke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kuukkeli walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Clarke scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kuukkeli avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clarke rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Clarke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Clarke closes the distance but Kuukkeli moves to the side
and Kuukkeli counters with a head kick. That will keep Clarke thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Clarke closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kuukkeli's guard.
Clarke won't allow Kuukkeli to sweep him here.
Clarke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuukkeli swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clarke shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Clarke was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
