And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falco throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice sprawl there from Falco as Nail shoots in.
Rusty Nail seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falco attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Nail throws a nice head kick!
A telegraphed right hand from Falco misses the target.
Falco takes a swing at Nail's ribcage but misses.
A big left from Falco misses.
Nail tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Falco counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Nail has momentary wrist control but Falco slips an elbow through the middle.
It looks like Rusty Nail has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Falco cracks Nail with a solid left hand.

Nail looking to hit a scissor sweep but Falco is one step ahead there.

Falco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Falco seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Falco connects with a nice short shot to Nail's temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nail pushes Falco off but Falco dives into side control.
Falco lands a few punches from side control.
Rusty Nail's cut is getting worse.
Falco controls the position.

Nail tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Falco presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Falco is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nail can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rusty Nail's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Falco looking for a guillotine from mount but Nail is having none of it.
Nail is bucking up trying to escape but Falco cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jeez, Rusty Nail's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rusty Nail's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
