The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Elite.
Convict throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Elite dives in and grabs Convict's left leg, looking for a takedown. Convict pushes down on Elite's head and hops out.
Elite fails with a takedown attempt.
The Convict has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Elite.
Convict takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Convict lands with a big right hook that stumbles Elite - he's out on his feet here! Convict follows up with another monster hook that separates Elite from consciousness! Elite falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Convict stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

In his post fight interview, The Convict started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
