Singh throws a nice looking combination but Merker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Singh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Singh throws a solid leg kick but Merker takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Singh.

Merker forces Singh back against the cage and clinches.
Merker keeps control of Singh as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Singh takes an elbow to the temple.
Merker lands a nice elbow.
Singh wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Singh wants to get back to striking at distance but Merker won't allow it.

Merker breaks the clinch.
Merker shoots in and drives through. Singh sprawls well.

Merker closes the distance and clinches.
Merker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Singh fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Merker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Singh finds it's way round the side to connect with Merker's head.

Merker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Singh manages to get himself to full guard.
Merker won't allow Singh to sweep him here.
Merker slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Singh.
Singh seems to have recovered his senses.
Singh landing strikes from the bottom.
Singh tries to get to full guard but Merker has control of the leg.
Singh wants to get back to his feet.
Singh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Merker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Merker thows a huge punch but Singh dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Merker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Simon Singh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Singh connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Merker momentarily.
