Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Tennis Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takai Kurosawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Master comes to the ring accompanied by NJJD. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tennis Master!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takai Kurosawa!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosawa lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A head kick misses from Master.
Master throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Master misses with a straight left.
Kurosawa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kurosawa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Master tries to clinch
and Kurosawa counters with a leg kick.
Kurosawa darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Master moves in looking to clinch but Kurosawa pushes him off.

and Kurosawa counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

It looks like Tennis Master has been cut.
Kurosawa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Master darts in trying to clinch
and Kurosawa counters with a straight right hand.

Master closes the distance and pushes Kurosawa back into the ropes.
Kurosawa tries to circle away but Master has him pinned against the ropes.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Master keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kurosawa's efforts to push away.
Master misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Master obliges.
Master is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kurosawa is defending well for now.

Master content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Kurosawa on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kurosawa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Master tries to clinch up.
Master misses with an uppercut
enabling Kurosawa to counter with a crisp jab.
Master swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kurosawa turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kurosawa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Kurosawa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kurosawa has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Tennis Master seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Master wants to clinch but Kurosawa slips to the side

and before Master can reset, Kurosawa rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Master is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Kurosawa counters with a nice body kick.
Master is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kurosawa sizes up Master with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kurosawa circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kurosawa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Kurosawa counters with a good low kick that Master was not able to check.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters circle momentarily. Kurosawa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Takai Kurosawa should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
The cut man is working on Tennis Master's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Master walks into a big right hand from Kurosawa and goes down! The referee sends Kurosawa to a neutral corner as Master gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Good leg kick by Kurosawa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kurosawa swings for the body but Master moves out of range.
Master drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


Master is rocked!
Kurosawa lands with a good body shot.
Oh Master is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fight stays on the outside here - Master looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Master seems to have got his legs back now.
Tennis Master is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Master fails to land with a series of punches.
Master wants to clinch up but Kurosawa keeps it at a distance.
Master tries to bum rush Kurosawa with a series of wild strikes but Kurosawa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A combination from Kurosawa does no damage.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Master lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kurosawa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kurosawa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Master looks to land a combination but Kurosawa avoids it well.
Kurosawa thuds a left hand into Master's body.

No joy there for Master, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Master misses with an uppercut
and Kurosawa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kurosawa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Master on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


Tennis Master's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kurosawa swats away the attempt to clinch by Master.
Master throws a sloppy head kick
and Kurosawa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kurosawa throws a body kick that misses.
Kurosawa tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kurosawa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Master is out of range and Kurosawa settles back down.
Kurosawa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Master wants to clinch
and Kurosawa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kurosawa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kurosawa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Master.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Master closes the distance but Kurosawa moves to the side
and Kurosawa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Master tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kurosawa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kurosawa lands a really nice looking cross but Master seems unphased.


Jeez, Tennis Master's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Master tries to clinch but Kurosawa moves away
and Kurosawa counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kurosawa is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Kurosawa shuts the power down on Master. Lights out, game over! Kurosawa is your winner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Takai Kurosawa!
