The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero takes a swing at Crespo's ribcage but misses.
Romero looks to land a combination but Crespo avoids it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Romero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crespo sprawls well. Crespo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Romero gets slowly back to his feet.

Crespo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Romero was covering up waiting for the punch and Crespo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
