Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Siwicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonnen comes to the cage accompanied by A Man Comes Around. Lukasz Siwicki will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Siwicki!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siwicki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Siwicki gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Siwicki seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Siwicki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Sonnen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Siwicki wants to stand and escape but Sonnen is having none of it.

Sonnen distracts Siwicki with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sonnen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Siwicki works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Siwicki pushes Sonnen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Siwicki clobbers Sonnen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No luck for Siwicki with that takedown attempt.

Sonnen throws a strike but Siwicki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sonnen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Sonnen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Siwicki's head.
Sonnen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Siwicki on the ground.
Siwicki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sonnen defends it easily.
Sonnen throws a strike but Siwicki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sonnen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Siwicki off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Sonnen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sonnen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Siwicki squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Sonnen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Siwicki is still in real trouble! Can Sonnen finish him?
Sonnen postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Siwicki badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sonnen around the waist but Sonnen pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sonnen is the winner by TKO! Sonnen jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chael Sonnen!
