The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong Dong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cogburn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jong Dong somewhat.

Jong Dong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jong Dong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

It looks like Rooster Cogburn has been cut.
Jong Dong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

and Jong Dong counters with a double leg. Cogburn bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Jong Dong follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.

In his post fight interview, Kim Jong Dong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
