Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Payette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ana Nas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ana Nas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Payette has a takedown stuffed.
Payette moves in looking to clinch but Nas pushes him off.
Payette throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Payette throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Payette tries for a takedown but Nas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nas scores with a kick to the midsection.
Nas lands a slapping body shot.
Payette fails with a takedown attempt.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nas checks a leg kick.

Nas fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Payette is squirming around, avoiding Nas's attempts to control the action.

Nas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Payette . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nas working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Payette is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's time! Payette 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Payette shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Nas counters by clinching up.
Nas avoids the elbow strike from Payette , against the cage.
Nas stalling the fight.

Nas breaks from the clinch.
Payette has his takedown stuffed
and Nas counters with a good low kick that Payette was not able to check.
Payette takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nas moves in looking to clinch but Payette pushes him off.
Payette really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Payette seems keen to control Nas's posture.

Payette is trying to hold Nas in close to prevent damage but Nas has managed to pass into half guard.
Payette is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Charles Payette will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Payette misses with a takedown attempt
and Nas counters with a nice body kick.
Payette throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nas's waist but Nas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Payette off to one side.
Payette shoots for a double leg takedown but Nas sprawls well. He's pushed Payette 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nas tries to clinch up

and Payette counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Payette looking to sit in guard and control but Nas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Charles Payette just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Nas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nas forces Payette back against the cage and clinches.
Nas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Payette pulls guard effortlessly.

Payette managing to control the position.

Payette working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Payette is looking to sinch up a triangle. Nas throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Payette 's body to avoid the submission. Payette has instead reached around Nas's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Payette arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
