The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curtings fails to land the takedown.

Franson swings around for an armbar but Curtings sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Franson's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Curtings throws a nice looking combination but Franson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Franson slaps away a takedown attempt from Curtings, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Curtings or perhaps it was just good defense by Franson which made him look bad.

Freddy Curtings overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
