Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thaal Sinistro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinistro misses with a takedown attempt - Slayer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sinistro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slayer circles away quickly and effectively.
Sinistro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slayer but Slayer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Sinistro shoots in looking for a takedown. Slayer tries to sprawl out of it but Sinistro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slayer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sinistro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slayer tries to avoid it but Sinistro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slayer to the ground. Slayer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sinistro shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sinistro was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That was a close second round but I would say that Thaal Sinistro will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thaal Sinistro.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sinistro, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
