Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allan Dekkers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valentine comes to the cage accompanied by Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid Rain. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dekkers tries to land a front kick but Valentine steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dekkers throws a body kick that misses.
Valentine steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dekkers. That one must have hurt.
Dekkers misses with a kick to the body.
Dekkers throws a push kick but Valentine slaps the foot to one side.
Dekkers pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Dekkers throws the kick towards the body but Valentine avoids it.
Allan Dekkers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Valentine closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dekkers quickly recovers to half guard.

Valentine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Valentine has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Valentine lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Dekkers is rocked!
Valentine postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Dekkers in real trouble here! The ref calls for Dekkers to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
