Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Naga Moriz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Moriz misses.
Moriz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Capone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Naga Moriz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moriz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Moriz throws a right and a left that Capone avoids nicely.
Moriz avoids the head kick by Capone.

Capone pushes Moriz up against the cage in a clinch.
Moriz gets underhooks to prevent Capone's takedown attempt.
Moriz trying to stall but Capone improves his position.

Capone decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Capone has a closed guard, preventing Moriz from standing up.
Moriz trying to control the position from guard on top but Capone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Capone trying to keep a closed guard but Moriz is proving a slippery customer.

Moriz stopping the sweep attempt from Capone.
Moriz has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Capone is proving hard to escape from.
Capone wants to stand and escape but Moriz is having none of it.
Capone has control of Moriz's left arm, preventing Moriz from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Vito Capone was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Capone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Naga Moriz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vito Capone.
Moriz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Capone circles away quickly and effectively.
Moriz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Capone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Capone looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moriz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Capone doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moriz works Capone's body with a nice hook.
Moriz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moriz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Capone backs up against the cage.
Moriz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Moriz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Moriz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Moriz lands a left and a right that send Capone crashing to the mat, dazed. Moriz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Capone is rocked!
Moriz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Capone is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Moriz moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Naga Moriz!
