Ball's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hammer Smashed Face. Midas has chosen Kasabian - Re-Wired as his entrance music. Joe Ball has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anti Midas!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Midas momentarily.
The fighters circling - Ball throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ball checks a leg kick.
Ball getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ball throws a hook but Midas blocks it.
Ball misses with a two punch combination.
Ball tries to score a power double leg takedown but Midas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ball somewhat.
Midas lands a really nice looking cross but Ball seems unphased.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ball dives in and scores a takedown into Midas's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Ball throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Midas wants to get back to full guard.
Midas is staying active underneath Ball, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Midas flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ball thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ball prevents Midas from improving his position.
Midas is looking to control Ball's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Midas avoid being mounted?

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ball winds up and cracks Midas with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ball lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Midas slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Midas is looking for a triangle here but Ball uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Midas takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Midas is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ball connects with a decent elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ball cracks Midas with a big elbow.
Ball creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ball in side control lands a decent elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Ball dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ball cracks Midas with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Midas connects with a right hand. Ball shakes it off.

Midas tries to keep at a distance but Ball has taken the fight into the clinch.

Midas is trying to maintain a safe position but Ball gets an underhook and turns Midas into the cage.
Midas tries a body shot but Ball blocks it.
Ball tries to throw a body punch but Midas avoids it by throwing Ball back against the cage.

Ball is leaning against Midas and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Midas just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ball's brow.
Midas lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Midas with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A short right from Ball on the inside.
Midas is breathing heavily.
Midas looks to throw an elbow but misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ball creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ball successfully pulls guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ball is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ball manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Midas wants to control but Ball is having none of it.
Ball has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Midas's face.

Midas tries to reverse the position but Ball maintains control.
Ball tries to control but Midas wriggling away.
Ball scoring with strikes but Midas is staying in there.

Midas is rocked!
Ball lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Midas! Ball sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Midas and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
