PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ninja Squirtle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenichi Atoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atoshi has chosen Samourai as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenichi Atoshi!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Squirtle gets caught napping as Atoshi dives in and scores a takedown. Squirtle manages to retain guard.

Atoshi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Atoshi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Squirtle wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Squirtle looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Atoshi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Atoshi seems to have locked his on tight now - Squirtle screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Atoshi, as he picks up the win!
