Walls kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Last Resort - Papa Roach. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lanakila slips a straight right by Walls.
Lanakila misses with a few strikes there.
Walls's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lanakila connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Walls scrambles back to his feet.
Walls dips to his left and cracks Lanakila with an uppercut!

It looks like Ionakana Lanakila has been cut.
Lanakila fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Walls closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lanakila circles away.
Walls misses with a straight left.
Lanakila leaves Walls with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Walls misses with a hook. Lanakila ducked under it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lanakila looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Walls on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lanakila lands a nice short elbow.
Lanakila thows a huge punch but Walls dodges it nicely.
Lanakila passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Walls!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lanakila cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walls is bucking up trying to escape but Lanakila cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
